Seeing Is Believing

So how does an invisible God, that no one can see, hear or feel communicate his love and life-giving nature to man? He sends someone to become a man. That person’s name was Jesus. Jesus said if you have seen me you have seen the Father. He went on to say, “I only do what I see the Father do and I only say what I hear the Father say.”

If mankind had only needed a saviour and not a relationship with God, Jesus would have only to live and at the appropriate die on the Cross. There would not have been any teaching or relationship. There would have been no disciples no apostles and no church. We would only know of Jesus as the Son of God not the Son of Man. Jesus was showing us the heart of a loving Heavenly father who wanted to have a relationship not with his creation but with his “lost boys and girls.”  Jesus was living the greatest love story to ever happen.

He was giving us a God who could be touched. He was giving us a God who could laughed and cried. He was giving us a God who could feel our pain our temptation, our hopelessness and more importantly love us in our unlovable condition. He was and is the greatest example of how to “Be Life Giving”.
