The Doobie Brothers Were Right!

In the Long Train Runnin’ song the Doobie Brothers belt out, “Without love…where would you be right now?”  Life giving peeps and leaders know the answer, nowhere! Relationships don’t grow without the key element of love.

When people visit your business or home do they get a sense that the people there really love each other?  Are they spending time together not just doing business, but also doing life together?

Being a life-giving person mean loving people and not just Monday through Friday. Hanging out together in the good times as well as the ‘busy’ times cannot be faked on the weekends. It must be planned into Google calendars, Blackberrys and smart phones. It’s not hard to make the decisions to ‘be there’ when tragedy strikes, our emotions override our calendars and we go!

To be life giving is to ‘be loving”…as a lifestyle. It can be learned and planned, but only if it is valued. Don’t be too busy to not, ‘be loving’. And as usual it starts with one small act of kindness.

“Duty makes us do things well, but love makes us do them beautifully.” -- Zig Ziglar

And do yourself a favor,

Be Life Giving!
